A few days ago, we received an email that we like to share on our blog. Brad and Maggie live in Astoria (Oregon, USA) and are literally in love with Ostia Antica. As they told us, they discovered Ostia Antica in 2011, during their journey around Italy, and…”Strolling through the ancient city is one of our most memorable travel experiences”. That first visit, however, was not enough. Probably they too, like many other visitors, did not expect such a large and well-preserved archaeological site. So they returned in 2012. During these visits they took two beautiful videos that have recently reached a staggering number of views (almost 90,000 for the 2011 video “Ostia Antica. Best preserved Roman city in the world”). Their desire is to spread as much as possible the knowledge of the ruins of the ancient Ostia, a place where, as they themselves wrote, “you can really get a feeling of being in Rome”. We can not but share their enthusiasm, and it is with great pleasure that we copy here the links to their videos that can be freely viewed on youtube. Enjoy!
