The Elsa Morante Municipal Library, created in the evocative rooms of the former marine colony Vittorio Emanuele III designed by Marcello Piacentini (1916), is one of the cornerstones of culture on the Roman coast. Its large rooms overlooking the sea host adults and children every day who can use the various services of the library (loan of books and DVDs, consultation of magazines, internet stations, etc.) and take part in the many initiatives. The month of January 2017 will be dedicated to the memory of the Shoah through the screening of some films that have told the darkest period of the so-called “short century”.
